Valuation Activities
- Carrying out investigative valuations on new holdings for the purpose of listing.
- Preparing reports for each investigation on objections received to be tabled in committee meeting.
- Conducting investigations on applications to reduce annual valuation and applications to issue valuation list.
- Carrying out scheduled checks at each area to identify holdings left out of the valuation list.
Assessment Activities
- Reviewing and making amendments related to information on holdings including streamlining individual ledger to the Council's Assessment Module System
- Processing applications for transfer of ownership (Forms I and J)
- Preparing monthly arrears collection performance report to be reported to the Council's Committee Meeting and Full Meeting.
- Processing tax bills and E Notice.
- Preparing reports for action on owners with outstanding payment.
- Accepting applications for instalment payments.
- Co-ordinating delivery of bills and E Notice.
